Rose (aka Roz) opened The Earl Grey Tea Rooms in 2017 with a passion for the Great British Afternoon Tea along with love & admiration of vintage tea cups and china!
Over the last few years she has grown a lovely family of team members and refined a fabulous relationship with choice local suppliers such as The Rusbridge Family Bakery, Southborough Butchers, Too Busy To Make, Bean Smitten, Kent Crisps, Mr Ames Tea & S.Tuck in a Pickle.

Whether you’re meeting a group of friends, treating a loved one to our famous Afternoon or Cream Teas, grabbing a coffee to take away or looking to get some work done over a delicious sausage sandwich, you are always welcome at The Earl Grey Tea Rooms.
We happily cater for groups and larger functions (we’ve hosted some truly memorable hen do’s and baby showers), so feel free to get in touch if you have any special requirements, dietary or access needs.
Always full of regulars & locals, The Earl Grey Tea Rooms is very much a dedicated member of the community and welcomes customers to Chatty Cafe on Monday mornings between 9am & 12pm.
Oh… and well behaved furry companions on leads are welcome too. Water & dog biscuits are complimentary of course!
